Jason Millard, M.A.

Jason believes that healing and recovery are possible for all who seek it. As a person who has gone through both (recovery, and healing), he believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship to encourage change. As an artist and writer Jason holds to the idea that recovery and therapy are engaging, collaborative processes where the client and therapist work as a creative team.

Jason earned a master’s degree in counseling from Drexel University (2020) in Creative Arts Therapies. Prior to this, he earned an M.A. in Creative Writing for Saint Joseph’s University. Jason’s clinical experience runs the managed-care gamut, though believes his calling is working with adults who struggle in co-occurring mental health and addiction scenarios.

Jason uses a combination of Gestalt, Internal Family Systems, and Relational approaches to therapy in the most out-of-the-box ways to keep the process interesting.
